Design of an Ultra-Low Voltage Bias Current Generator Highly Immune to Electromagnetic Interference

چکیده

The paper deals with the immunity to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) of current source for Ultra-Low-Voltage Integrated Circuits (ICs). Based on properties IC building blocks, such as current-splitter and correlator, a novel generator is conceived. proposed solution suitable provide currents ICs operating in sub-threshold region even presence an electromagnetic polluted environment. EMI compared that conventional mirror evaluated by analytic means reference 180 nm CMOS technology process. analysis highlights how generates down nano-ampere intrinsically robust Radio Frequency (RF) interference affecting input generator, differently what happens output under same conditions.

Ultra low-voltage CMOS current mirrors

In this paper we present an ultra low-voltage bidirectional and continuous time current mirror based on clocked semi-floating-gate transistors. The current mirror may be used with supply voltages down to 250 mV and frequencies up to several hundred MHz. The simulated data presented are obtained using the Spectre simulator provided by Cadence and valid for a 90 nm TSMC CMOS process.
